Spring 2023 registration is open and teams are forming!

Spring, the main season for lacrosse aka the fastest-game-on-two-feet! THIS IS THE TIME TO PLAY! We offer competitive and recreational team options for every boy and girl ages 6-15 (regardless of skill and experience). WE DO NOT MAKE CUTS (you sign up, you play). We have multiple teams per age group, so we separate our teams out by age, athleticism, lax IQ and skill level. Our LFA Teams play in the SLYLA Lacrosse League against other area teams. SLYLA is the largest and best league in the area featuring trained, certified, and background-checked coaches and officials (and is a US Lacrosse GOLD STICK Award-Winning League 1 of only 18 in the country). We host the SLYLA league at our two beautiful facilities: Lou Fusz Training Center at Rams Park, and the Lou Fusz Soccer Complex.

**EQUIPMENT:14U / 12U / 10U and 8U players are all responsible for their own equipment.
BOYS PLAYERS REQUIRE: Stick, Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Elbow Pads, Gloves, Cup and Mouth Guard.
GIRLS PLAYERS REQUIRE: Stick, Goggles and Mouth Guard.SHOES: Players can were soccer / football / field hockey / rugby or of course lacrosse specific cleats. Rubber or molded cleats only. No Metal Spikes. Tennis / gym / turf shoes are also good to wear for the turf fields.

HOW WE FORM OUR TEAMS: We expect to have 2 or more teams per age group (A & B and sometimes C or D teams). Players will be divided by skill, ability and overall athleticism. The first 2-3 weeks of practice, all of the age groups will practice together (for ex. all 10U players will be grouped together as 1 unit). Then players will be split into separate teams after a few practices (to properly evaluate talent). The age groups will still do many practices together, but players will be split for team practices and for games (so friends will still be practicing the majority of time together even if they are on separate teams).

COACHING:All of our teams are coached by ex or current lacrosse players who know the game and competed at high levels either professionally, or in college or high school or both . All of our coaches are background checked and US Lacrosse Members. We pride ourselves in having the best staff in town.

AGE & ELIGIBILITY:

Age groups = every 2 years: 14U / 12U / 10U / 8U
*15 year olds are allowed to play 14U*
Players are allowed to play up an age group but never down

MANDATORY US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED FOR ALL PLAYERS:
All Lou Fusz Lacrosse and SLYLA League players are required to have a valid US Lacrosse Youth Membership ($35). If you have already have a membership, make sure it is renewed and up to date.

UNIFORM:
FREE for ALL players. Uniform is a custom reversible jersey (players will wear their own black shorts)
