Lou Fusz Lacrosse - Blue Star Spring/Summer 2023 Evaluations 

Lou Fusz lacrosse is excited to announce our Blue Star Spring/Summer 2023 evaluation dates. We are excited to build off our most successful Spring/Summer in 2022 and make a statement in 2023! These evaluations will be open to returning Blue Star players or new athletes looking to play at the highest level this Spring in our local SLYLA league (Youth Only), then compete throughout the Midwest come Summer 2023. Additionally, our best teams will be traveling to a National event in July. 

What is a Blue Star Team?

Blue Star was created to offer high-level training with our talented coaching staff, provide exposure to college recruiters, while keeping our programs cost efficient. Currently, we are looking to field and develop a team comprised by your son's graduation year. For example: 2026s = 9th graders. This will help college coaches identify your son at recruiting events. These Blue Star teams will be considered our top teams within Lou Fusz Lacrosse and their ultimate goal is to be competitive throughout the Midwest. After developing into a competitive Midwest team, we will push our best teams onto the National tournament stage.   

High School and 14U Evaluation Dates and Times

HS: 2024, 2025, 2026 - 14U: 2027 and 2028s 

Thursday, January 19th - 8:15-9:30PM  

Location: LFA Training Center (Indoor Turf) - 1 Athletic Way., Earth City, MO 

Youth Evaluation Dates and Times 

Youth: 2029-2031s (4th-6th graders) 

Thursday, January 26th- 7:00-8:15PM

Blue Star Spring and Summer 2023 Schedule-

Please see below for a tentative schedule for our Blue Star teams. 90% of these dates are finalized, but we may add another team or subtract one from the tournaments listed below. We will communicate early on with RSVP's so families are able to accommodate their vacations and for those who play other sports in the Summer.

SLYLA League - 2x a week practice at Lou Fusz Athletic Complex (Mondays and Wednesdays) - Beginning in March 

STL Summer Slam - June 23-25th - Hosted at Lou Fusz Athletic Complex (STL) - ALL TEAMS WILL BE ATTENDING 

Team IL Invitational - July 7-9th - Chicago, IL - ALL TEAMS WILL BE ATTENDING 

Ocean State Showdown - July 14-16th- Providence, RI - PLEASE NOTE: Only our top youth teams will be attending this event! 

HS Schedule Spring

We ask that all of our HS athletes play for their local HS team in the MSLA throughout the Spring. This helps them develop their skills for Summer and they all will be practicing five days a week their school teams.
